Impressions: So how goes the comiket? Yeah, it was a relaxing episode, not too bad, but not to good either. There are some good moments, and some irritating ones. First off, just to let it out, Kirino what in the world is wrong with you? Was that a fake Kirino all along in episode 3? How can a sister just forget something as monumental as a courageous brother standing up to his unsporting parents and gives up his natural persona in order to protect her? She should be honouring him for all he is worth, and paying him something back. No, instead she just rubs in the fact that he is ero-gamer despite her being the reason he is doing all of this. In all honesty, I can definitely relate to her with my own sister. All the things I have done to help her. Did she ever do anything big in return? No. Well, I can go on and on about how a horrid nightmare she is to Kyousuke, but I am here to talk about both aspects to the episode.
Well, despite her disgustful appreciation (Seriously, that “thank you aniki” in ep 3 was still mediocre; she turns polite for a single line then resorts to her original self the next episode), she has an awesome best friend named Aragaki Ayase who is light years apart from Kirino. Oh how I relish the chance for me to tell her to stay away from Kirino. She is amazingly polite to Kyousuke even staying positive to the most absurd occasions with Kyousuke grabbing the box filled with ero contents and seeing the sight of incest. She not only apologizes to him, but out of grace, she exchanges phone numbers with Kyousuke . I nearly cried at the sight of that. Virtually everything about her is beyond real, yet I cannot fine a speck of negativity in me not liking her. Why can’t she be the main star instead of Kirino.
The scene when they are going to the comiket was good portrayal of realistic situations in anime/manga conventions. Therefore, it was not quite as exciting as the event where they can challenge a pro 2d fighter. Ayase had great parts in this episode, but Kuroneko and Soari also share a very humorous spotlight point. Soari with her seemingly no glasses was deviously haunting, but cool at the same time. Kuroneko with her extremely awesome skills of street fighter madness skills was a complete fun to watch. Now, Kirino and Kuroneko are still sporting their tsundere sides, but I think that is hardly necessary.
The episode was not very exciting or drama, but still enjoyable to watch. The big cliff hanger is Ayase finding Kirino. I can only hope that she part of the otaku craze, because that would be awesome.
